Job Title: Sales Manager
Department: Sales & Marketing

Overview
The Sales Manager will oversee and lead the activities of the Patient Outreach Sales team. This position will also be responsible for ensuring the Sales team is enrolling new members with Medicare onto the practice by creating activations in the community, guiding patients on health care coverage options, and developing strategic partnerships. Key responsibilities are listed below, however, this position may be asked to perform other duties and responsibilities as determined by management.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provides leadership to the Patient Outreach Sales team.
  • Travels to different company locations to support the sales team.
  • Motivates and encourages sales team to ensure company goals are met.
  • Reviews and analyzes sales and operational records and reports; uses data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.
  • Administer marketing tactics through several platforms to develop Medicare patient lead list and enrollment. Marketing methods may be completed face-to-face, telemarketing, patient referrals, community partnerships, etc.
  • Resolves patent complaints, staffing challenges, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
  • Enroll Medicare patients onto Palm Primary Care Centers as the primary care physician assigned to their HMO health plan.
  • Meet or exceed monthly enrollment target in efforts to contribute to Palm Primary Care Centers’ membership growth.
  • Collaborates with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Department to attend community events, store table-tops and center activations to generate contact lists and work prospective leads.
  • Screen potential members about their healthcare needs. Work with partnered insurance agents and brokers to guide patients on the best health plan selection.
  • Educate the potential members about center services, how to access the services and programs and overall member eligibility.
  • Coordinate center tours for potential patients, including transportation to-and-from the scheduled tour.
  • Work with the Case Management Team for appropriate enrollment strategies.
  • Provide customer service throughout entire length of membership for patient center retention.
  • Represent the Palm Primary Care Centers brand well. Have full knowledge of the company’s services and patient resources.
  • Collaborate with medical center staff with member retention efforts.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent sales and interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough understanding of services offered to members.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Administration, HealthCare Administration, or related field highly preferred. Minimum three years in sales, comparable record of sales leadership experience in the medical sales industry; or a combination of education and work experience. ValidTexas driver’s license, acceptable driving history, and active, valid personal motor vehicle insurance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Prolonged periods of walking and standing.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
  • Travel to meet with clients or potential clients will be required on occasion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
